Entry is free to NTS Members and children except on Open Day.
Non members please put your £3.00 entry fee in the honesty box.There are no catering facilities except on Open Days, but you are welcome to have a picnic. Please do not leave litter. There are good toilets including disabled facilities.

Find below a map to use if you are coming by car, from the A8 turn off at the RBS. From the City of Edinburgh Bypass, follow the signs for Mid Calder and turn right opposite  the Heriot Watt Uni. If using a Sat Nav. key in EH12 9BY

Buses 25 and 34 will take you as far as the Park & Ride at Heriot Watt. From there Horsburghs Bus Number 400 passes the front gate of Suntrap Garden. Timetable below.   

We contacted the very helpful Traffic Controller, Peter King, at EMH Horsburgh Bus Company Tel. 01506 432251 who would like to offer us his best wishes for a successful campaign. I copy below the timetable highlighting Service 400 which passes Suntrap.This is a request stop, so inform the driver when you get on that that is your destination. They welcome concession travellers. Only the Number 400 passes Suntrap and the service operates seven days a week. Suntrap is before or after the Hermiston Park & Ride stop,  depending on whether you are travelling from The New Royal Infirmary in the east or St. Johns Hospital Livingston in the west.
